About Minal

What works for 1 student might not work for all!

Everyone learns differently..

I use specific methods to create specialized lessons for each student based on their learning preferences. Sometimes the students don't even know what helps them understand concepts faster, that's where I come in.

With more than 10 years of teaching and performing experience, I can help you get stage ready, or simply rock to your favorite music at home!

Our Core Belief

Correct technique is the engine; your pocket and feel are the destination.

What you practice is important, but so is the why and how, practice routine is a strong focus so you are making the best use of your time at home and getting the results you need!

Physical Assessment

Building a lesson plan

Practice routine and goal sheet

Performance Integration

We analyze your current grip, posture, and movement patterns to identify ergonomic improvements and prevent fatigue, while also checking how I can best help you improve

Based on what level you are at and your drumming goal, a lesson plan is assigned to you defining everything that will be worked on for the next 6-12 months

How you practice at home is a part of the initial journey, a detailed chart of what you will work on and for how long, how to increase the bpm everyday etc.. is set up for you. You simply have to walk the path to reach your goal!

Everything you learn, including drills is added to a song or a piece to show you implementation while making practices more fun. ultimately this will become a part of your performance, or your pocket!

The Learning Environment

A safe space for you to make mistakes!

Be it at your home or studio

The main focus is to build enough self confidence that you can smile your way through mistakes without stopping because the show must go on!

I will not only coach you through a more confident you, but also tell you that your idols make mistakes too! they are simply good at covering it up.

Drums surfaces, tensions and tuning!

Learn the art of playing at bouncy and non-bouncy surfaces, because drums have different surface tensions too. An acoustic kit is a whole different ball game.

Playing in a class, at home, on stage and in front of camera are all different things

When that camera goes on, it gets a lot harder to stay calm, we will work on that but also on body language and stage presence.
